I just realized that some people may have an old URL in their rss/feed readers. When I switched from Wordpress to Movable Type, the URL changed. Here is the new, correct URL: http://www.cmerrill.com/mt/atom.xml.

Posts have been relatively few and far between lately, but I expect things to pick up a bit as the end of the year approaches. Readers can expect some new episodes of SimCurt as I'm moving to a new place in about a month. I predict some of them will be interactive editions (I'll need help deciding what color to paint, for example).

Also on the horizon is a visit to Portland, Oregon, for the Thanksgiving holiday, which should provide kindling for some fun content.

Beers of the eastern U.S.

While Mike and I were ramblin' around the eastern United States, we decided to pick up local beers from each of the places we visited. We ended up with a selection of seven brews (in sequential order):

Kentucky Ale (Lexington, KY)
Oberon Ale (Kalamazoo, MI)
Dirty Bastard (Grand Rapids, MI)
Pipe Organ Pale Ale (Pittsburgh, PA)
Celestial Gold (Pittsburgh, PA)
Blue Heron Pale Ale (Saratoga Springs, NY)
Brooklyn Pilsner (Brooklyn, NY)

Once collected, it was time to taste.
