Picked up Super Mario Sunshine the other day. It's gorgeous. And huge. Of course, I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. I've only been playing for a short time, a few hours, and I'm hooked. The game's challenges are tough, but not impossible, and there's a ton of secrets to find.

I just finished moving three people (including myself). It's amazing how much your stuff grows when you have to move it. I didn't think I had very many possessions, but it took me a lot longer to get stuff moved than i thought. Things just kept appearing in my drawers and closets. Some of which I hadn't seen in a very long while. I'm almost scared to unpack for fear of finding even more stuff I never knew I had. I suppose that's the risk you have to take when you move every may and september. Hopefully I'll be able have a semi-permanent residence after I get this pesky degree I'm working on. I'm not going to hold my breath though.

I'm moving for the 20th time today. For the past several years, I haven't lived anywhere for more than nine consecutive months. It's hard to get a feeling of permanence when you know you'll be moving in less than a year.

creativity on speed. November is National Novel Writing Month. Write 50k words in 30 days (1,666 words/day). Who's with me? In the same vein there's the 24-Hour Comic. Here's the account of a group of artists/writers who recently attempted the insta-comic. This is a creative project that I plan to tackle after trying my own hand at writing a novel this November.

I used to think getting paid to do nothing would be cool, but it's not. Even the internet starts getting boring after an 8-hour shift.

The design was only a couple days old, and while it had its merits, I felt like it needed a change. It was too constricting. So I spent last night at work building this one. It's simpler, but more adequate for my needs and easier to update when needed.
